With online censorship on the rise in 🇬🇧 🇺🇸 🇨🇦 🇪🇺

Does piefed have the ability to be hosted on an I2P address?

I wouldn’t be surprised if we need to communicate via i2p to be able to share any 18+ content or political statement.

No you need to make a separate I2P piefed that won’t federate with the clearnet piefed.

Is should have been more clear, is piefed (code) ready for i2p, not piefed.social

Defederating from clearnet shouldn’t be to difficult.

Sorry, I don’t know anything about I2P. The wikipedia page says it’s designed to make it possible for any normal HTTP-based service to run inside it, which makes me think it’d probably work or could be made to work pretty easily.

I think I2P is a network with a special anonymous message format. It’s not transparent TCP/IP or something that could easily be added in between… So we’d need to write a lot of code to hook into the I2P network. But I’m not an expert on this.
