I’m enjoying playing with #Lemmy, a #Reddit clone that’s getting popular lately. Being part of the fediverse it connects to Mastodon in an interesting way.
Each community (i.e. subreddit) is visible on Mastodon as a user that just boosts every post and comment on that community. For example, https://lemmy.ml/c/gaming is visible on here as @gaming.
Funny to see how these very different forum structures can still sort of work together.
@mtorpey kbin is similar but gets the best of both as we have separate thread and microblog sections.
