Started with the Atari sticks, grew up on NES and SNES.
Gamecube was where it’s at. By far. I was surprised how natural it felt after the first game. How well it worked for Metroid Prime.
Currently, I’m quite pleased with, of all things, the Stadia controller. It’s more comfortable to hold than the XBox and Dualshock controllers for me. So I’ve been using that for PC games that play better with a controller than the DualShock4 I’ve also got sitting on my desk.
I like the gamecube controller the best for using. though because I’m a weirdo who likes the weirdest stuff, I’m super fond of the n64 controller.
The N64 controller certainly has character.
