If you click on your profile --> accounts, you can see the account(s) and next to the ‘switch’ button is a trash can; does it delete the account, or does it just remove that particular login from Photon?

It removes the login from Photon. That’d be a bit silly if you could delete an entire account with no confirmation.

If you want to delete your account, go to Main menu > Profile > Settings > at the bottom, there is an option for “delete account”.

Thank you dev. Yes, i suspected it would only remove the login, but it could have been a costly mistake if it were not so. Have a great day :-)

        You too!

One of the few sane API features of Lemmy is the fact that deleting an account requires that you enter your password, which isn’t stored anywhere, so it’d be impossible for photon to do it without your knowledge
