Once, I played the first YouTube of the day on the Roku, and instantly got 2 minutes of unskipable ads (4, 30 second segments) with (what I would categorize as) unnecessarily sexual content on a children’s playdough video. That was when I installed and configured PiHole for the Roku. That was the last straw. My 2-yo niece should not have seen a dude’s butt. A 5-second video-age-appropriate ad, ok. An age-appropriate banner on the bottom, ok. 2 minutes of unskipable adult ads on a kid’s video, no. I started blocking, when they started intruding.
I tried redact, but it wouldn’t load. Just froze at “loading”.
Thank you!!
Check the app permissions, and revoke the one that allows it to see other installed apps. In fact, revoke everything it shouldn’t have.
I didn’t get the notice, but scrolling through a sub yesterday, I got a notification that this action (viewing a subreddit) is only available for logged in users on the app. Seriously?? Just to view a sub? I reloaded the page as desktop site, and it allowed me to view the sub, although formatted terribly. Reddit is getting much worse than I thought possible.
I’d be appreciative of the community link, as well
Amazing! Thank you!
Tonight, we erase the past!
By chance, do you have a link to it? I’ve been doing this manually, and it’s taking ages.
What’s redact?
I have the hamburger menu, which has a magnifying glass. There is no magazine option for me, and the general search seems to not find communities others haven’t subscribed to yet :/ I know v0.17 has some issues, some of which only affect some users, maybe I’m some users. Or maybe I’m missing something.
