Needs more sear!
Needs more sear!
Not even a little bit.
Uh oh, some MPs are about to get sued.
It’s not a slippery slope. It’s a cliff.
Basically: “hey guys, your group is treating us badly, would you mind listening to us instead of just saying that you’re not treating us badly?”
Well, say that then. Saying “don’t post here so much if you’re white” is just more racism.
It’s not racism if it’s against white people. That has been the established rule for a while now. The claim is that black people don’t have the power to enact systemic oppression, so anything they do isn’t racism, it’s a response to racism.
You made the accusation, the burden of proof is on you. Here’s what’s going to happen when you ask complete strangers who aren’t vested in what I imagine you think is activism to pour through millions of posts to find behavior you claim exists:
They said you’re not supposed to ask for it. You have to “do the work” and go find it on your own, like Sherlock Holmes. Pssh, it’s like you didn’t even read it.
Is it the person who posted this?
Their own cross post says white people should post less. Remember, only racism can defeat racism!

Combat racism by making literally everything all about race!
That sounds delicious
How long does it take to sear something like a steak?
Oh, a kitchen torch. We have one of those too, but we only use it for things like creme brulee.
Is that like a clothing iron for steaks or something? A steak toaster perhaps?
Ha! That must be why it looks so beautiful now though. Lots of use, and lots of seasoning.
That’s a nice looking cast iron pan you have.
Sounds great, but that doesn’t look seared.
The key is to get the pan, or the grill, as hot as possible. Then psht! Psht! Both sides for like 2 minutes, and let it rest for 10 minutes. It’ll continue cooking as it rests. It’s important that the steak be at room temperature before you start, or you’ll have to burn the outside before you can get the inside to the proper temperature. If you cook it until the internal temperature is the desired temperature, then it’ll be overcooked by the time it is finished resting. It definitely takes some experience to get it right.
