As long as the instances are federated you can find their communitys pretty easily and participate there

CookieJarObserver@feddit.deto Technology@beehaw.org•Reddit communities with millions of followers plan to extend the blackout indefinitelyEnglish13·2 years agoNsfw got killed by that as well basically, moderating nsfw subs is one hell of a work, and they can’t use third party tools at all anymore because the api just doesn’t forward nsfw stuff anymore, all their bots will 100% go out and that will be the day reddit gets flooded with Child porn and billions of onlyfans links. You just cant moderate a sub without tools, and reddit itself offers absolutely nothing.

Also the amount of bots is skyrocketing.
