I am likely one of the moderators you don’t like, as I choose to not take an active hand in moderation, and instead rely on community action. Whether that’s through downvotes or reports, it’s not important to me. I don’t actively spend time hunting for rules violations. I’m not an activist mod, just one who wants to assist my chosen communities.

False equivalence.

I looked into some food science around eggs and the differences between caged, cage free and free range and there’s definitely no discernible health benefits to any of them. The only real benefit is to the chicken and their lives being vastly better with free range. I can afford it so I get free range eggs, mostly from the farms directly. There may not be health effects but they sure do taste a lot better.

Pasture raised can look like that most of the time. When I go to the farmers market and get fresh local eggs they always look like that.

That almost looks like something your neightbor would scoff at.
