Some people just have daddy issues and need an image of a power figure to guide their life. It’s obvious on the right, but I’ve seen various shades of it in the left as well.

They speak like a bot. Zuckerberg sending miles to infiltrate?
Yeah, I just blocked the .ml worldnews community. It isn’t worth the effort trying to discuss politics with them. The .world instance has been fine for me so far.
Was it the .ml or the .world instance? I had comments deleted for “misinformation” on .ml. It’s why I migrated away from .ml because it was only a matter of time before my account was banned.
Already digging this site.
No, this is Lemmy. Digg is already dead.
Don’t really care much for what Biden has to say at this point, but I’d prefer if various government orgs would all host their own instances. I don’t want to go to a privately owned company to know about road construction or ballot box locations.
It’s interesting none the less. One explanation for the plateau is that many people signed up for difference instances, either because they didn’t know how federation worked or they disagreed with the instance and wanted to be somewhere else. Not as many people necessarily went back to reddit as the numbers might suggest.
I’ve only really heard Fediverse. I don’t really get into the meta discussions on here though. I’m also getting hyper sensitive to chatters that sound like bots. They mentioned “we”, but it doesn’t look like they’re a mod or admin, so I thought it was a bot using some PR speak from the dataset.
