Sounds like the person who wrote the TOS was all over the place. Likely it’s AI generated.
Loops is currently a one man operation and I imagine TOS was the last thing they were worried about.

People on lemmy downvote anything it’s actually really harmful to the user experience.
Like a completely harmless post into a niche hobbyist community is often downvoted because a couple people on all decided to downvote it for no apparent reason.
Bluesky started off as mainly a community of comic artists.
Mastodon seems more heavy on “furry” stuff.
Communities only federate to an instance once someone from the instance has subscribed to the community.
What’s nice about here is even if you post an engaging post in a completely dead tiny community it still has the potential to get quite big since lots of people browse via all.
Yeah I don’t feel like it feels much larger. But at the same time my blocklist has added 30+ accounts in the last couple of months.
Well I don’t know how you like it when a user gets mad at you for something you share and goes back months in your post history until they found something personal you said and then starts insulting you based on that. But I’d prefer to avoid the situation.
And “bad mouth” is very subjective here. They are shaeing an older post which is basically a transcript of the modlog.
It’s obviously an alt. And I want to say I understand OP’s decision to use an alt. I’ve had some creepy stalking and people downvote large parts of my entire post history for criticism of ML.
Outpacing? The “flagship” instance has a less than 5% the traffic of world, which doesn’t ban someone for mentioning Tianmen square or the Uyghur Genocide.
sounds more like a potential browser/cache/extsnion thing than lemmy itself but what do i know
Would love to have more freedom with relation to reply notifications. Such as muting a comment or a post.
I believe there’s been github issues opened and closed for atleast the past year but it seems to not be a priority for the devs. If I had the disposible income to put a bounty on the feature I’d pay for it but well I’m poor as heck.
Blocking instances doesn’t block their users. Only defederation does that.
Already got a wife so now I’m looking for the perfect instance I guess 😂
Or people like me who keep on switching instances because they want to find the perfect one that blocks everything they don’t like and federates with everything they like.
Yep we’re gaining 1’000 new accounts every couple days, maybe every week. Which is pretty cool given we have an average of 40’000 active users. But nothing compared to the total of 1.5 million accounts. The vast vast vast majority of which are dead. Made one year ago to check out lemmy and never came back.
With my alts I might be contibuting to 3-4 in this graph aswell
Mostly FB wasn’t a trove of far right shit and it was before a lot of the scandals pointing out to what extent our data is sold.
That’s not the point I was making. Just that the wheelchair ramp comparison doesn’t work.
I’m on blahaj so I don’t have them enabled but yeah before I switched to blahaj I did
