I don’t typically see it on here and when I do I report that shit
Facebook, Reddit, and YouTube? Every day, Facebook loves to tell me how it doesn’t violate their rules though.
I do a lot of photography and I share it on my deviant art page.

The Internet really did feel more genuine back then when it was ugly and half broken.
It was less sterile and uniform
Every site was unique
Communities felt more real
There I go, whistfully looking to the past again
Our profiles playing music and having their own effects that we can pick
With each day we’re getting closer and closer to classic Myspace
I mean… Based
But why post that here?
This must be why my inbox suddenly blew up with replies from other instances that have updated
Like I got off work and noticed I had like 30 replies and panicked, then I noticed they were all from the previous weeks and from other instances.
It’s definitely a bit rough around the edges but personally I like it more than most of the others I’ve tried
Personally I enjoy Jerboa
How so? It works fine in browser as far as I can tell
It would be pretty cool if you could go into like Jerboa settings and see a list of communities you blocked and users you’ve block so you can go back and unblock them easier.
I’m not sure either but one thing Jerboa does seem to do is tell you how many new comments have arrived since the last time you were on the post.
Maybe based off of the existing code kinda like
Check time of last visit
Check for new comments since last visit
Show number of new comments
Check time stamps of comments when thread is opened vs time since last visit
Highlight those comments
I haven’t coded in a long time so I’d probably be as helpful as a toddler holding the flashlight while someone works on the car if I tried to do it.
Depends on where the image is hosted.
If it’s hosted on the instance it can be pretty slow to load depending on instance, if it’s hosted on a different site (like imgur) and the link is shared here the image loads almost instantly.
Or at least that’s been my experience so far
I’m hoping I can find an alt to imgur for uploading and sharing images though as direct links to the pictures can be less than ideal together from imgur
That would explain the issue I was having perfectly
I might try to just switch to the GitHub version once things stabilize a bit with the whole new life Lemmy is getting
For some reason the app won’t let me install it
It downloads fine and I even have installing apps from unknown sources ticked
IDK I might just have to wait
Edit: looks like the app updated on Google play to 0.36, heck yeah
Considering making votes public, not considering making mod actions inform the user they occur.
I can see where their priorities are.
Making votes something mods can see is one thing but public is whole other can of worms.
Edit: Spleling
