It’s not that I want Reddit to support violence, it’s that I want Reddit to support free speech

It’s not being abandoned by my friends, it’s not having a way to explain the situation. That’s why I’ve made sure most of them add me on Telegram and Steam

When I was banned from Reddit I was devestated, thankfully I’ve come to see it as a blessing in disguise since I’m on lemmy now.

I didn’t have friends on Reddit, I do on Discord though, so if Discord became ban happy I doubt I’d reach the same conclusion

Indeed, especially since both (Reddit more than Discord admittedly) give out blanket bans on a whim and that means being blocked off from the modern internet, the stakes are too damn high.

Though what do they mean “Disappearing”, isn’t this like pulling the alarm because you just learned “There’s not that many dinosaurs left”

Sadly Reddit has been toeing the line and has been banning any accounts for “threatening violence” for any support of Luigi no matter how peaceful or non-violent or ANY criticism of Elon The Musky Husky

Heck even before my account was banned I was warned for “advocating violence” just for saying “It’s understandable to wanna punch Nazis”

I see absolutely no reason why they shouldn’t be

This shit is what made Reddit unusable, up until it literally became unusable when site-wide bans started getting handed out like candy.

It’s amazing I’ve been on Lemmy for months now and I’ve yet to be banned from anything on it, it’s almost like not having normies modding out of a desire to solely Power Trip is good for business

I can’t go back to reddit, I was hit with one of their arbitrary bans
