Interesting. I’ve watched some videos without issue, though not many since there aren’t that many to watch.

Why are you being so hostile?
I think maybe it would have been clearer to just ask this question directly and openly. The way you phrased it is the way a lot of bigots do to try to start trouble.
You don’t know what a woman is? Or is this some kind of attempt at trolling?
Unfortunately it is niche right now in the fediverse based on the stats. That could change but probably requires a different approach to achieve.
Maybe pixelfed? Never used it but I think it’s more or less designed for this purpose, and it’s on the fediverse.
All means all, it’s not meant to be curated.
That said, it sounds like you are suggesting more of another sorting algorithm. Could be a neat idea.
And it’s interoperable with Lemmy for those unfamiliar. So you’ll be able to see and interact with the same content you can on Lemmy.
Can’t since she usually gets banned immediately lol. Good riddance.
I didn’t read the post (sorry, it was too long and I’m tired) but the fediverse is equally suited to federated islands as to one fediverse, right? Most people will want the full fediverse but people can also create their separate spaces if desired.
Thanks, I assumed they were centrally created but if they are user customizable this does make it a bit more appealing, although at that point it’s not hugely different from the way subscriptions work now. Could have some use cases though.
Maybe I worded it poorly, I know I can still do my thing, but I’m explaining why I would never use this unless it excluded certain instances.
I don’t want to block the users though, I just don’t want to be subject to their authority. Which means I can’t use their communities. Combining them into one big bag subverts my autonomy to do so.
This doesn’t appeal to me at all. The whole point of Lemmy is that I can avoid certain instances that have oppressive admins.
I think it’s a cool feature. Newest version of Lemmy allows admins to block communities from appearing in all while still allowing subscriptions. I think this is the best approach, although it would be nice if this could be done in a more automated fashion instead of admins having to expand the list as more rss feeds are added.
I think the fediverse might provide a supporting role in information sharing but it can’t really replace in person organizations.
Interesting. Is there a way to set this up so I could follow a user on pixelfed here on Lemmy for example?
And would you see just my posts or also a bunch of contextless comments? The latter might not be too useful.
Cool so it is possible. Seems like a good solution to the problem of automated communities that put out a lot of posts.
Does it though?
