Amazing! Those look delectable!

Ohhhh might have to give this a go
You make the patties into a loose meatball shape(around 4 ounces). Ground beef 80/20 works best from what I’ve heard. Then when your pan is super hot, you throw them on and smash them super thin. Let them cook about 2 mins, then get a metal spatula to flip. Add cheese if you so desire and let it cook for another min.
The one in the pic is a double smash burger with 2 patties. Magnificent IMO. I just started this journey a couple weeks ago and I am hooked! Although I need to prob chill a bit since not exactly the most healthy thing.
Thank you much! No fried egg. Just mayo, green leaf lettuce, thin tomato slices, chopped sweet onion and bacon. I think I need to dial down on the green leaf a bit.
The burger you’re describing sounds like a masterpiece though!
Been keeping it pretty basic. Just a dash of salt and pepper and garlic powder on one side right after I SMASH
He’s still using XP?? I’m guessing his computer isn’t online then?
Thanks for the recap. My upvote for this post is now a downvote.
Yeah I was on a chicken piccata kick for a while but have kinda since changed direction. I make breaded Italian chicken cutlets but use a shallot white wine sauce that similar to the piccata. Think I will be making that tonight!
I love a good piccata!
Oh yeah these were orange cherry tomatoes. Holy cow habanero would’ve been wild 🥵 but I can certainly see why you would’ve thought that! I’m a cherry tomato boy though.
Yeah I had to sneak in a The Curse reference lol
I made this on a whim! Not my usual breakfast offering but wanted something a bit different. I thought about putting spinach in the omelette but it seemed loaded enough. Still went well with it on the side!
I’m using iOS. Currently use Memmy but it’s got its own quirks.
Been test running various Lemmy apps, I think Voyager is nice but for some reason it bothers me that I can’t see the user name that submitted a post when looking at the feed. Doesn’t seem to be any settings to correct that.
I seem to be at a stalemate where I like features for various apps, but just still haven’t found my all in one favorite.
I’m surprised if anyone can successfully moderate a large lemmy community at all, considering there are no tools in place to provide notifications for reports - through email or other means.
Are there any app notifications or email options to let yo know about reports? I modestly mod a couple subs and I have never found a way to reliably get report notifications unless I log in through a browser based front end.
This is the way if you want any movement. Start the communities yourself and curate/nurture them. Hand them off to a mod or trusted member that wants to break away from Le Reddit.
Hey how do you know pal?! Were you there for the tasting?
What were you washing it down with? Almost looks like chocolate milk lol
Agreed. Still looks delicious but I’d like to see a bit more restraint on the topped salsa just so I can see em.
