I don’t think I’ve ever deliberately used a gesture. It’s always “Oh no, what on earth have I done, and how can I undo this?”

This always deceives me as well. I don’t like using gestures for things anyway, so truth be told I’d really like a setting to just disable it, but I agree with you if it is enabled then it should work in both directions.

I’ve seen threads that are the same replies in the same order as they were in previous years. I know a lot of this is just people posting what they know will get them comment karma, but I have a hard time believing that sub is for real. It’s such low quality, predictable content

Finding communities can be painful indeed, and there are a few other wrinkles that I hope will be ironed out over time, like having the ability to hard delete posts and comments and having a setting to disable autorefresh.

I’ve seen people scoffing at the idea that federated services can become popular due to how hard it is to understand, but it’s actually quite easy when you think of it using this analogy.
