I love it it because i don’t feel like my comments on posts just get lost in a landslide of other comments. It’s a smaller community but we have access to so much content through the fediverse. It’s perfect
I’m so hyped for this. My two biggest wishes for it are better support for public transport oriented and walkable cities, and better performance when playing larger cities

It’s funny that the two biggest sites that the fediverse competes with decided to nuke themselves one after the other.
It’s not exactly the same but my city has “robot pizza machines” that are basically glorified vending machines with pizza that’s cooked daily and reheated on demand. It works really well for the company because they specifically put the machines in neighbourhoods where people go to drink.
I think as far as automated pizza goes, that’s the best way to do it.

I’m hoping Christian ports Apollo to Lemmy. I’m not sure what the feasibility of doing so is but I’d actually pay a monthly subscription for the ability to continue using it
If a federated wiki could replace fandom.com I would be so happy. That site is a nightmare of ads on mobile and needs to be replaced.
