If you haven’t and live in the US, try the veggies (could be vegan) hotdogs in IKEA. I love them. They’re not the “hot dog + ketchup” kind, but a whole other thing.

I’m not a vegetarian but hot dog meat is extra questionable, so it’s been fulfilling my hotdog needs.

Lemme provides that. Servers are managed by different groups and you can absolutely make your own, with blackjacks and hookers.

Never understood people who don’t get this.

As a person who is part of open source communities, on various chairs and donates, the money is extremely slim, and the people involved just want to build cool things.

We are busy trying to keep the lights on for hundreds of thousands of people can enjoy this service. And if a small group of troublemakers force us to get a strong legal threat, we aren’t risking the the project’s survival for them.

Especially when we don’t know the troublemakers, don’t have any connection with them, they don’t contribute to the platform, etc.

Thank god Lemmy has no malicious users/bad actors/spam issues…

I find duck eggs to be pretty strong in the taste department! Like, more “eggy”. I think I like it!

But the price at $12 for six (versus a pack of chicken eggs which is $1.50 for half a dozen) makes it hard to pick up.

There is a guy who interviewed me for a freelance gig, who generates new dropship e-commerce sites a day, for the past few years. He has over 2000 sites. He wanted help creating bots to have conversations and pump his sites on social media.

He was going to pay me well. But the skillset required was out of my expertise.
