of course
basically just elaborating on this twitter thread.
And because Kotaku decided to play a >1min video ad while i was trying to read:
tl;dr:
According to Circana’s PlayerPulse:
47% of console video game players are female (+1% vs YA)
50% of PC video game players are female (+1% vs YA)
54% of mobile video game players are female (+1% vs YA)
41% of PS5s in the US are female owned
45% of Xbox Series consoles are female owned
52% of Swich consoles are female owned
50% of gaming PCs are female owned
I… have to admit, other than Switch I’d have estimated somewhere around 20% to be honest.
But I like to be wrong here, cool that it’s not that divided!
And I’m not sure it’s a good sign that I didn’t expect this.
Maybe Men are more vocal (possibly because women are less so, because of bad treatment), or maybe I’m just not as attentive…
Currently?
Having cool abilities tied to NPC companions.
And I’m pretty sure (nearly?) everyone knows why and what I’m talking about.
you wouldn’t even relly need to find one consistent way, just identify the way servers do it, and have a list of supported methods.
let’s say there are implenetations a,b,c, and d
if let’s say google supported b,c and d, and apple b, and hotmal c and d, only hotmail-apple traffic would be unencrypted as they can’t agree on a common method.
pretty sure that’s how TLS (i.e. https) works.
but… it’s there… “supported links”!
I mean, it’s not like theres really anything stopping the big providers to implement PGP on top of Email.
They just don’t, because users don’t care. So you have to do it yourself, in a plugin or whatever.
Still works, just more cumbersome, but I wouldn’t blame the protocol… at all.
Asus Zenfone Max Pro M1
LineageOS 20.
It’s still too fine to replace, although it’s the first phone of which I cracked the screen.
Chose it for the reasonableness of it at the time, was like 200€ new, with microSD, unlockable bootloader, had lineageOS support and still microUSB, as I still don’t even have a hand full of usb-c devices.
you’re in the settings within Jerboa.
you need to open Androids App Info of Jerboa, an Android Settings Menu about the installed App Jerboa, not a setting within Jerboa.
So, while the experience certainly isn’t terribly smooth, there are changes you can make, to somewhat alleviate this.
see here
tl;dr:
Open Androids App Info of Jerboa -> Open by Default -> Check all available links
it’s very imperfect, as android apparently needs this list specified at compile-time. Not sure why it’s currently disabled by default, devs may have missed something, idk.
So this list will never include every instance, especially regarding new ones, but it’s a start.
lemmy.ml beehaw.org, feddit.de feddit.it lemmygrad.ml are there. lemmy.world unfortunately isn’t (yet)
around 25k on kbin.social I believe, although a lot of them will be duplicates on lemmy and kbin
