Thank you!
Thank you!
Very good! The cookie itself was pillowy and the lemon tartness was mild. Rather than plopping from a spoon I quickly rolled them into 1/2" balls.
The slight sweetness of the chocolate ganache contrasted with the lemon, I liked it as a dessert cookie. The lemon glaze emphasized the lemon in the cookie and was very bright!
I hadn’t even tried to post until your comment, then I was confused! Glad you asked it! 😃
Whatever you did, it worked!
Good call… I couldn’t figure out what didn’t make me think “BLT” immediately!
Agreed. I won’t do it again, wanted to see how it compared to the last lobster roll I got in Maine! It wasn’t tossed in mayo and no lettuce so while it was definitely inspired by Maine rolls, not quite the same as from the lobster stands on the coast. Not bad for 1,750 miles away, though!
$22 for the roll, $5 for a cup of clam chowder
Sometimes I think the highest regarded dishes are about the way they look rather than the process, execution, or the taste. The more I learn to cook, the more I appreciate the nuance of each step!
