Holy fucking shit
Holy fucking shit
It’s known for being much more right leaning content.
Revanced too, if you are on Android. IOS has one, but I don’t know the project name.
Sponsorblock: allow us to introduce ourselves
There’s always the Revanced Project on Android. Honestly though, I’ve cut way back on YouTube after their algorithm started shoveling crap at me. Now it’s hard to find genuinely informative videos. It’s all “This guy got PERMANENT ORGASM FACE DISORDER Tears of the Kingdom” type videos, instead of ones on science, technology, and news.
Mod of 60k. We’re staying dark indefinitely since all mods use 3rd party apps.
Not to mention the sudden impact of reddit cutting off all 3rd party access on the 30th/1st.
I feel fine switching. I’ll miss the deep history of reddit, but apparently the official app sucks for that too (afaik), so no great loss anyways. The community seems small but great here.
The rub here is content moderation. Remember when Amazon carried brand name everything, then it slowly became shitty offbrand ZERBONO and AQUIVOO socket wrenches and alarm clocks?
That could be reddit’s future, times 10, if they don’t get a grip on their spam bot problems. In the last two months, my sub of 60k started getting tons of offtopic posts from bots. Users would flag them as quickly as they were posted, but even with third party tools, we were starting to have trouble removing them in a timely manner. Bots don’t sleep. Mods do. And without third party tools, blockers, all that…I shudder to imagine the cacophony of that many bots on subs like r/askscience.
Are you the actual Margot Robbie? Seen your profile before, but just assumed it was someone who liked them and was capitalizing on the movie.
