Yeah, Jerboa is nice, I can’t wait to see what it will become in the future, thanks for all the devs who are working on Lemmy and Jerboa 🙏

Yeah, the story and side quest are really well made, and the soundtrack is so good, I can’t wait for the expansion, apparently it will overhaul so many things that it will probably feels like a different game.
Yeah, that could really be dangerous, they probably want to do an “embrace, extend, extinguish” with the Fediverse.
Facebook is not something that I want to see approaching the Fediverse, they are the antithesis of that free and open philosophy.
If I wanted to use a Twitter clone, I would use Mastodon.
Yeah, in Boost, I used a long press to hide comment, it was harder to do accidentally.
Slayers X, this is a funny meta boomer shooter made by one of the characters of Hypnospace Outlaw, Hypnospace Outlaw is also great to play on the Deck.
It would be nice to have the app highlight new comments when you come back to the post, like in Boost
Yeah, it will become unsustainable for the 3rd party devs, that’s why many of those apps will shutdown, Reddit will got what they want in the end, no more 3rd party apps, or really gimped ones.
So the non-commercial thing means that the dev can’t show ads and add donations to his app? That’s really scummy, they would have to work on the app without any contribution, maybe people could support him elsewhere but idk.
Better late than never i guess.
Yeah, and I don’t like Twitter threads with their character limit and using multiple post to make 1 message. It looks stupid imo.
The real discussions are really limited by this concept, and it makes reading those a chore.
If Reddit really wanted to not target 3rd party apps, they could do it, idk if they can see what kind of app are making the APIs calls, but they could’ve worked something with the 3rd party app devs, I’m not believing what they say.
Yeah, the Lemmy dev said that the IzzyOnDroid repository for F-Droid has faster updates than the default repository, so that’s probably why.
Strange, are you on Jerboa v 0.0.32? I don’t know if changing the option via the website update the setting in the app too
I think I know why, I’ve downloaded the latest version from GitHub, and if you’ve downloaded it on the Play Store, it probably isn’t updated yet to the last version, There’s a F-Droid repo that is updated quickly as I heard, but I didn’t try it this way.
You can change the default view in your account settings, right from the app.
Hoping Reddit is next lol 🙌
Great, it seems that there’s way less error message on Jerboa now with this update.
