I can see that in some circumstances, votes might need to be public due to protocol, otherwise public votes have their own uses, and so are private ones.

Same here, although I already had a Mastodon account.

AI simps. There’s more and more of them on the fediverse, for some reason. They’re getting a bit less active on Mastodon, as Elongated Muskrat is also being an AI fan.

I think it’s part because of definition of porn, and pedos were like “but what about erotica?”, and there were CSEM that used such clauses to get around bans, essentially by claiming they’re artistic nudes.

If current Twitter was the only option for internet, I wouldn’t want an internet.

It was a bot on someone else’s account, because we’re at that point. It also had a link that I wouldn’t even click if my life depended on it.

I already have two accounts there I’m using, @[email protected] is my personal, and @[email protected] is for my game engine project.

I’ve only seen Taiwanese on Mastodon, especially as they’re leaving Twatter due to Chinese bot activity.
