i have a mastodon account but it’s completely useless for me.
the only thing i use twitter for is to follow updates and news from professional journalists and artists who are not on mastodon and likely will never be. if your job depends on twitter, switching to mastodon is not going to happen.
if i want to engage with random average people, i come here to lemmy.
they also don’t use brisket exactly, it’s a slightly different cut, called belly or plate. something like that. not very easy to get a hold of.
I’m skeptical they actually smoke the meat for 3 days. my understanding is anything past 3-5 hours of smoke is not doing anything for flavor, and you’re better off just steaming or baking at that point. IIRC they do finish with steam even after whatever smoke process they have, which further leads me to believe they aren’t smoking for 3 days.

users maybe, but i don’t think they considered mods in that. of course they can just replace mods as necessary, but the mod quality will go down for sure.
It is not super difficult to do the same type of blocking with a router on software like OpenWRT.
that is not something average people even know about, or would have the skills to attempt. not even close.
you are everything that’s wrong with the internet.
