Does this work work for anything other than mastodon?

It’s showing me the same thing
I don’t know who wrote this book, but he is a genius.
I dig that fedi origami logo.
Someone pointed out to me how the asterism symbol (the variant the website used) looks like four cat butthole. I can never unsee that.
sub.club is not aimed at servers but monetization of content from individual users. Opposing this doesn’t mean someone oppose supporting their home instance monetarily.
That’s exactly what I thought when I first saw this. The difference in that they market it as a fediverse extension.
If piefed decides to create an api later, I would prefer they did their own thing and try to be lemmy compatible. Looking at misskey, I think not forcing api to be compatible with the more popular service has many upsides.
Piefed doesn’t have an api, so no 3rd party client. You can use the PWA.
Are these relays similar to fediverse instances?
No matter how many times I see it, ⁂ just looks odd. I don’t want to get used to them. I want my colorful old fediverse symbol.
I just plugged in my Fire TV and tried running urusai.social on the default browser (Amazon Silk) installed in there. It’s not the best experience, but you can certainly use Mastodon, Misskey, Piefed etc. Also, you can install APK files in Fire TV. And I assume these will work on a Fire Tablet as well.
I think many people share your sentiment and have argued the same point in other threads
You had to say it.
Do we need to address the typographical issues for the existing symbol? I am not using that symbol every time I talk about fedi. Fedi accounts are identified as @username@instance, so there’s no need to use some obscure unicode.
