Korea and Sweden aren’t really that different are they? Both are on a peninsula bordered by Russia. They’re practically right next to each other!

Depends on how good your taste is tbh
Weird, when I show people my cheesy cauliflower balls, they scream or tell me I need to go see a doctor.
Jokes aside that looks fucking delicious and I’m mad jealous
That’s not a health code violation, but it’s still pretty gross if it drips on the food 😅
tastes like someone boiled pine needles in tar
What the actual fuck? Have you never tasted maple syrup before?
Dear jwelch55,
How fucking dare you.
Sincerely, Canada.

I have a similar issue. Jerboa overrides the default behaviour on my phone for double-tapping a word in a text entry box. In most other apps, double-tapping a word causes the whole word to be selected, similar to double-clicking in a PC word processor. In Jerboa, this behaviour is broken, and it simply jumps my cursor to the spot I double-tapped.
A huge number of humans were just waiting for a computer to get just good enough at simulating coherence that they could abandon critical thinking forever. People are utterly opposed to using their brains at all.
The word selection is definitely Jerboa-specific for me. If I double tap a word in any other app’s free text fields, it selects the word. Not so in Jerboa.
Also it breaks text selection for some reason. Normally I double tap a word to select it, but in Jerboa (and only in it), I have to long press the word instead, which is more difficult since that can get picked up as trying to drag the cursor.
Yeah I’ve been seeing the “reversed” comments as well. It shows only when I click a link to a comment which is deeper down a comment chain (eg. Clicking a comment from my profile and looking at the replies)
Edit: lemmy.ca got updated and it’s back to normal now.
Is the prevalence of html escape sequences in post/comment text like &
and
a Jerboa problem or a Lemmy problem?
FYI don’t use Lemmy DMs to discuss anything sensitive. It is not a secure chat. This is why we have the option to put Matrix contact info on our profiles
That sounds very useful if you ever plan to bring your dog on a roller coaster
