Federation fixes most of it. I can follow the big community that’s become the main one and still the smaller ones with their own focuses and views.
That’s another Wendy.
I took over [email protected] after the creator disappeared but instead of remaking it I’m going to direct people to the unaffiliated [email protected]
Edit: wait, I’m misremembering, I was thinking of another community I took over.
@[email protected] is still around sometimes. Sorry, you cool with this?
No, it’s a very common viewpoint around here.
What are your favourite communities here? Are you an active member? If the mod team seems small or inactive maybe try messaging and asking?
Wtf tumblr
Voyager doesn’t support them
What do you mean?
Can’t log in to the instance, or make new top level posts, but navigating directly to an old link still apparently works and you can reply and everything. 🤷🏻♂️
Keep in mind these are only visible to users of your instance.
And any new instance will not have a copy.
But they’re already the biggest :/
At the very least if you’re going to make communities please do it elsewhere.
The rare time I venture to reddit to talk about Lemmy I saw lemm.ee posted the most.
Good question.
There was a smaller (?) one a few months ago when reddit started punishing people for upvoting content that went against their ToS.
Edit: here’s an article.
Almost two years for me too. Wow, time flies.
Thank you for the info and transparency.
I didnt know it was the same admin. Just looked into it and you should block mstdn.party too if you’re not already.
Really? That’s a little disheartening.
I’m sitting at 98%.
Edit: oh, I see it can go to -100. It adds up now.
Maybe the scale could be more clear?
Edit2: Something like:
80% (positive)
and
90% (negative)
for -90%
Or ideally something better.
