What is a fediverse profile?
Thanks for the numbers, that seems indeed a bit more lightweight.
I feel Lemmy is very heavy despite being written in rust. Most ot the time it is the service using most RAM and CPU on my server where I run many other services written in ruby, PHP, python, go, etc.
Is PieFeed more lightweight? Does someone have any insight?
OK I made two, and they are a bit bigger than usual. The problem is I only have a air fryer.
Oh what I wish that would have been a table.
I am thankful for myself! I am my own moderator and my own admin. This way I almost don’t have to deal with other people. /s
I only have to deal with them in conversations like a coupple of days ago someone congratulated me to have written the new stupidest comment on Lemmy.
Anyway, Lemmy is where I spent most of my little time on the internet, I’m very suprised how well everything works despite it being alternative media without VC funding.
Yeah, it really comes down to that.
I asked and they say it’s a northrtn china tradition, so it might have come from Mongolia indeed.
The meat is kind of whacky but the rest looks nice. So how was it? How long did it take to make the broth?
Probably, but we know that this is only a hypothetical question because in reality this will never happen.
If I was a YouTube creator and would know anything about hosting then I’d get a $5 VPS and host my videos there by myself, this is one of the few ways you can be in controll.
Is there some kind of a roadmap when 0.19 might come out?
Damn that looks so tasty! Some day I will buy a oven to be able ta bake again, it’s just not enough space in our little kitchen right now.
I’m doing POSSE to mastodon, but for everything else I host my own instance like Lemmy, PeerTube, blog (RSS), Pictures (RSS), Matrix.
There already is alt text in the markdon in the body, but yeah it would be good to have it for the header picture too.
Although I’m hoping for AI to be able to do that automatically.
It’s PeerTube. I have a explainer video on how federated subscriptions work in PeerTube as part of my PeerTube Admin Chrenicals series: https://tube.jeena.net/w/b5DBfFwPU8FCWW24gCU7TY
The pictures are in the blog :(
