Edit: oh, mobile apps? Maybe Fedi.Tips on Mastodon (you can follow the account via RSS as well). Otherwise I do not know. Any platform publishes information about its apps on the mobile website
Ce să vă zic, mă, bine ați venit? bine ați venit, rău ați nimerit. La locu’ ăsta îi zice șerpărie, de la șerpii care umblă pe-aicea. Dracu’ știe cum au ajuns…

Btw, I am really amazed that there was a way for the users to express their disagreement with spez’s decision. I honestly did not expect that. If that happened on Facebook or Twitter, the reaction would’ve surely been less spectacular.
@bird Expected. They own the website, they do what they want.
@dirtmayor That’s not an issue if you rarely open them 😎👉👉
But yea, if you have a low powered device you just want to get to your destination quicker. You do not want to wait for a full ad to finish in order to get to your drive.
(okay, this might not be an issue if you wait for your car anyway, but still).
@imaginary doesn’t seem to be that much of a novel concept. I was interested into such a password manager that generates your paswords each time you access it instead of storing them. Indeed, for some (probably security related) reason you have to change your passwords to every service you use
@Bardak if you post a video on a topic that YouTube deems problematic then it doesn’t pay you either (i.e. the demonetize that video).
Many youtubers are on platforms that accept donations tho (like Patreon), so for some, the monetization isn’t that much of an issue.
@Sleeping Quick update: tried subscribing again and it’s working 😁
@BobQuasit I am on Friendica. It is a macroblogging platform, but more akin to Facebook in look and feel (it even somehow resembles the old Facebook, but server admins can add other themes to give it a different look). The feature set is very extensive, and it is way richer than Facebook, tho. You might find it a bit complicated at first. I would recommend anyone to watch this video series to learn more about it:

After you learn all about it, you might find it your Fediverse home.
@PhatInferno There’s Peertube here in the fediverse. But yea, every platform will need creators which will not easily switch. Some even have youtube membership enabled on their channels, which makes it kinda impossible (without being deprived of revenue).
@Barbarian so that’s why I couldn’t follow anything there.
Indeed, it will be interesting to see what will happen.
@flibbertigibbet it does seem to be a pretty legitimate warning tho. I mean, you wouldn’t want wearing a visible Reddit T-shirt or something right now.
@chocolatine wow, they really seem concerned about it.
@lohrun sadly I don’t think spez is that stupid to fuck every little thing up from a social network, all at once almost. Sure, I think you can buy some ad space on Reddit, but imo there’s nothing too evident for this to be easy peasy.
Not to mention, Mastodon was already larger than Lemmy when the crisis point happened (the other two contenders, kbin - which is still in beta - and Lotide, are even smaller!). Maybe convincing the sub admins to try to be admins of communities and see how it goes? (Except that there are multiple communities here on the same topic, but on different instances - again, not sure how this is gonna work out)
As no one can delete their Threads accounts without deleting their Instagram accounts, I’m sure it will last. Users will likely get bored and leave, but Zuck will likely show the advertisers „hey, there are millions of users already here and no one is leaving. Here’s how many you can reach!”.
Kind of how @mastodonusercount displays accounts over on Mastodon, but you don’t know how active are them or if they are still using the said accounts.
