The PS4 controller just feels great to use. I’m also a fan of the touchpad, it’s a shame there are barely any games that used it.

FF16 looks incredible, but sadly I don’t own a PS5 so I guess I’ll wait for the PC version to come around. I hope it isn’t too far away…
Transistor is amazing. Be aware that it was free on the Epic store at some point, so if you redeem games a lot you may already have it in your inventory.
There’s something really addictive about Trackmania’s simplicity. The physics feel great and it always feels like getting a personal best is just one lap away.
Shame the campaign this season is kinda boring though. It’s all fullspeed maps!
Saved you a click: The rival platform is Kick.
Not a fan of XQC but it’s great that there’s a Twitch rival trying to get serious. $100 million dollars for just one streamer though? Sounds crazy.
CAN I GET A ROCK AND STONE?
Oroboro also said there’s a lot of souls influence here. It seems like it’s the case with all the telegraphed attacks but I don’t know if it’s close enough to be called a souls-like.
Castlevania: Symphony of the Night and Castlevania: Aria of Sorrow are must-plays for anyone who enjoys metroidvanias. I was surprised how well they held up, the art is great and the games are pretty fleshed out!
I remember playing Destiny 1 and being so underwhelmed. I picked up Destiny 2 with my friends after it went f2p and it’s honestly gotten so much better. Crazy that it’s been 10 years now.
Pretty much my thoughts as well.
My bet is that they’re going to allow other people from the fediverse to post on it but won’t allow instagram users to see other instances. Wouldn’t want your customers getting off the official servers now.
I’m already putting my clown makeup on
Oh no. They don’t exactly have a clean track record.
If you hate menu diving then Tears of the Kingdom will actually make you go insane. I’m constantly swapping armor and scrolling up and down to find specific items.
I played Genshin Impact up until I explored the world and beat a couple of bosses. As soon as it asks me to grind dungeons and pulls I dipped out. Gacha games suck, it’s always a massive time (or money) sink where you get almost nothing in return. Sure, I could spend a month grinding for that legendary character. Then what? I’ll beat one DPS check before getting stuck again and having to grind for the next thing. It’s surprising how many people pay money in these games and don’t realize how pointless it is.
Slow, boring climbing sections that add nothing to the game and just pad out playtime. I’m looking at you, God of War (2018).
Lives systems. Luckily modern games never use it anymore, but every now and then I play an older game and wow, losing 30+ minutes of progress just because you died a few times SUCKS.
I never really liked Twitter as a concept. It feels like it’s built on an “old man yells at cloud” concept where people just shout their thoughts and nobody gains anything from it.
By comparison forums are there to foster discussions and communities. I thought Mastodon would be better but I spent 5 minutes and it’s exactly the same nonsense.
I’m not quite sure how exactly everything works but it seems like a lot of things on kbin get thrown to /m/random, does anyone know what’s up with that? A lot of communities from lemmy show up as a 404 and posts end up there.
You really don’t need to care about whatever’s happening with Threads as a casual user
