Can I pay you to come make this for my wife and I? That looks beyond perfect.

Beautiful. Please submit a taste test.
Is this what Sam-I-Am meant by green eggs? Just need some ham to go with it.
There are variations with a hard-boiled egg, variations with a fried egg on top, as well as variations with a raw egg cracked over it while it’s still piping hot. This bowl looks beautiful.

Lol this is from last winter. I never got to share this on reddit because of fascists I mean, moderators having weird criteria. Pretty sure it was a case of a powermod. Anyway, I’m just getting used to Lemmy and I love my wife and her cooking, and wanted to share. I wish I could share the actual food so yinz can see just why I rave about her cooking! 🤤
Hell yeah! It’s so filling and warms the soul. 🤤
Yeah, they later posted the whole tray lol.
Thank you! They did not last long!
Aww now that is gorgeous!
Sounds good. I need to try it!
But Hawaiian has ham, so why no red sauce? If it doesn’t have ham as well as pineapple, it’s not a Hawaiian. Still, absolutely beautiful pie. Wish could try some! Cowabunga, dude!
Holy shit that looks amazing! I wish I could have a bowl.
Brooo… this is how I do nachos! FRESH sliced jalapeños, not pickled. The flavor profile is much fresher. Nice presentation, but like someone else said, portion is too small! lol
Ha! I can imagine. Must be like living in a small town with no way to get away from it. I hope your experiences in the US were good. I’m so disappointed in and ashamed of my country. We should be better than, well, this [gestures around].
Слава Україні!
Yokosuka! I spent a lot of time in Kamakura. Got to go to several sake-blessing festivals there. We made port in quite a few different places- I’ve been to the ice festival in Hokkaido, been to Sasebo a few times, a girl I I dated at the time took me to the onsen in Hakone, visited Ramen Amusement in Shin-Yokohama, and visited Peace Park in Hiroshima. Such a beautiful country with many lovely people and insanely good food. Like I always told the people I met there: 俺は外人、でも心は日本人。
Hmmm…red onion I could definitely see adding to the flavor. I’ve had some versions that used sweet white onion, but I’m not sure how pickled red onion would play with the rest of the flavors. I’d be interested to see what it tastes like.
