Its a very Instagram like, but simplified (at least at the moment). Mastodon technically has more “features” but at the end of the day, it all about how people want to interact with their socials.

Yeah honestly the biggest change between pixelfed and mastodon is the UI. Its a very Instagram like, but simplified (at least at the moment).
