I recently joined this community and another one, both of which are on different instances than my “home” one. The app doesn’t show any pinned posts when I navigate to these communities, even though the web versions do.
Apologies in advance if this is a Lemmy issue and not a Sync issue.
Do you have hide read posts as an option? Sync will hide all posts including pinned ones if you read them. Might want to play around with those settings.
I only see, under the
Historysection, “Mark posts as read” but I don’t see any settings related to hiding read posts.It’s actually in the Lemmy account settings.
@[email protected] I think it might be a Lemmy issue because I’m seeing the same behavior on web (going to https://lemmy.radio/c/[email protected] doesn’t show pinned posts but https://lemmy.world/c/syncforlemmy does)
I just double checked and the box for “show read posts” is ticked.
What sorting method are using using? Previously I noticed on the webui if I was sorting top>6 hour for example I wouldn’t see any stickies as they were older. Not sure if that’s still an issue.
I think the default sort on web is
activebut I can’t seem to change it in a way that shows the pinned posts.
