minus-squaredaniskarma@lemmy.worldlinkfedilinkEnglisharrow-up23·8 months agoI really like lemmy as a platform. The only thing I miss is better search options. Someone knows a efficient way to search for a topic using lemmy or some search engine? Some trick or something? The fact that topics are dispersed in many instances makes kind of hard to try to find a post where someone may be talking about the topic you need.
minus-squarefossilesque@mander.xyzlinkfedilinkEnglisharrow-up5·8 months agoKagi has built support for it iirc.
minus-squaredumpsterlid@lemmy.worldlinkfedilinkEnglisharrow-up4·edit-28 months agoHey have you tried discord? Me and all the communities I am part of have moved to it! edit I should I have put /s in my comment, I mistakenly thought that was obvious but I really shouldn’t have thought that I guess lol
minus-squareretrieval4558@mander.xyzlinkfedilinkEnglisharrow-up4·8 months agoNot gonna down vote you like others but discord is ass for medium to large communities imo.
minus-squareuis@lemm.eelinkfedilinkEnglisharrow-up3·8 months agoLow-skill option would be backfilling entire lemmy on mastodon and using elasticsearch.
