You know, I think I knew that from the beginning but I have spent too much time spinning my wheels thinking maybe I’m just missing something.
Glad to hear they took it out for LJ though lol.

That was one of the first skills I unlocked too.
I’ve played the entire Yakuza series and honestly I feel like there are always mechanics in these games that have no real purpose or stakes. Somehow it usually just adds to the charm, but this one is the most egregious.
I was really impressed with this when I first started it. Really great production values and some fun twists on standard combat, but I did get worn out on it pretty quickly. I managed to finish the story, but I was very ready to be done and left a lot of side content behind.
Thanks, that does fill in some pieces!
Can I ask then: on the Fediverse, what distinguishes something like Lemmy from kbin? They can presumably…federate with each other, so what’s the distinguishing factor? Is a Lemmy instance fundamentally different in some way than a kbin instance (I only just found out about kbin and originally though it was a Lemmy instance, but now I’m not sure).
Big fan of the atmosphere and fidelity the RE team puts into their games lately (though I’ve only played 7 and RE2: Remake).
But RE2 left a sour taste with their a/b scenario thing. I thought it was going to be an actual parallel timeline of events instead of just basically the same game. If I’d known that I probably would have skipped it.
