JC2 is my baby XD
My main reason is the different biomes of 2. A desert, a massive city, snowy mountains, an island archipelago. I love seeing it all sprawl out in the distance and knowing that it’s all mine to explore and do whatever.

I guess the reason I bring this up is because Just Cause feels uniquely, gloriously pointless to me.
I love 'em. Just Cause 3 practically has Gmod in it’s DNA. But at the same time, I’m strangely aware of the loop.
BOTW’s is not my favorite of the series, but damn is it perfect for the game it’s in. The music pairs BEAUTIFULLY with the world.
Gonna have to say this in no specific order because it’s too hard to pick true favorites:
-Assassin’s Creed 2
-Xenoblade Chronicles
-Pizza Tower
-Legend of Zelda Skyward Sword (or… any Zelda game but damn Skyward Sword and Twilight Princess are so damn memorable)
-Metal Slug 5
-Yakuza 0
And a lot more that I’m spacing right now.
Excellent suggestions all around in the comments! I own all of these XD There is one that wasn’t mentioned that I would highly recommend. Dread Templar is a good one.
I remember seeing that you get a few days early access if you pre-order. Dear lord, playing a PRE-day one Bethesda RPG? Forget buggy, it’ll be a pile of writhing polygons on the floor.
Very true! For some reason, Lego Batman really clicks with me even more so than others for some reason. I never did figure out why, nor does it bother me. I’m just happy to play silly lego gaem :)
Lego Batman, the first one. God, I love that game. I just feel so cozy when I play it.
Quick-time events but SPECIFICALLY the ones that give you way too little time to react. Like, I never mind them too much, especially the ones in the Yakuza series, but I remember there was this game on the Wii called Indiana Jones and the Staff of Kings that would throw these inputs WAYY too fast at you.
Oh they totally don’t lol. I adore their campiness.
