You cannot disable the Moonlight Authorization Pin. It should simply allow you to put it in and never ask for it a second time.

This is why Diablo 4 sucks. It’s made by Blizzard.
Buy and play Last Epoch instead. You have the option to play completely offline. Or play with Online Characters too. It’s what Modern Diablo should be.
Because then people would be up in arms about the lower battery life. People want a phone that can go all day without charging. And they never slow charge their phones overnight.
It’s a product of people just being absolutely stupid.
M.2 would make phones inordinately thick and un-usable. If you really need more than 1TB of storage on your phone, dump your pictures and Videos every so often to a home NAS PC running TrueNAS Core or Scale. And if you have Music on your phone that you own the files to, consider using your home NAS as a Media Server using Plex and use Plex Amp or some other app to stream the music direct to your phone.
On a Phone, people are already conditioned to have their phone work all the time, no matter what you do to it, and there is an advertised Maximum Battery Capacity.
People don’t do the 80/20 rule on Phones because that’s outrageous to them.
But EV Manufacturers have built in the 80/20 rule into their cars. When you do long distance EV trips, the Route Planner will automatically tell you where the next charger that you will arrive at 20%-ish battery capacity will be and route you there. And the car will stop charging itself at 80% and you’ll be ready to go.
Phones on the other hand, tell you “Hey moron, I’m at 30% you should charge me!” And most phones don’t have a Battery Protection setting to cut charging at 80% (Samsung added this about a year ago to their phones)
I’m personally about to exactly be in this category. I am moving from Android to iPhone, and will not be getting a MacOS device for my primary computing until MacOS gets good Gaming Support.
Namely Guild Wars 2 and Warframe. But, other games would be really nice.
Well, see how it runs on Mac in its current state. I’m sure that without Translation Layers, the games would run significantly better. I need to personally try the new No Man’s Sky Apple Silicon port on my Wife’s M1 MacBook Air.
I wish I had friends who play what I play. I’d love to get back into Guild Wars 2, but I just never have a group to play with!
And, my friends are never playing when I play, but back in College, my friends and I would play CSGO, Minecraft, Oldschool Runescape, and a few other games.
The main problem with Fairphone is… It won’t come to the US. However, I am very happy that this will affect Apple, because I am making the switch from Android to iOS. I know that Apple won’t be stupid enough to have two separate plants, one to make EU Compatible phones, and one to make Global phones.
The costs for such a thing would be inordinately high even for Apple.
I mean, xQc is only one streamer. So… If there’s other popular streamers who you like who migrate to Kick, then… You might find someone to watch there.
I enjoy Forza Horizon 4, and also Need For Speed World, which has several revival servers and a new client.
I’ve been on the Beta for awhile and it’s so much better than what Steam used to be.
The Zune is actually quite serviceable in 2023. I saw a video of someone modifying one to take a Micro SD Card, a Bluetooth Chip and a bigger battery! I don’t think there are any modifications to the Operating System you can do, but the Bluetooth off and on is actually piggybacking off the Wifi Switch for power to the BT board.
I agree, I grew up with Sonic Heroes, Mega Collection Plus, Unleashed, Rush, Colors DS, and Generations. I think after Generations everything went kinda downhill, and has been redeemed with Mania, Frontiers, and now this? Heck yeah!!!
Oh, just leave your PC on overnight then. It’s a security thing to have to input the Pin. Also, just remote desktop into your PC, and enter the Pin that way if you absolutely want to turn your PC off overnight.
If it’s a power draw concern, it probably uses less than 40w of power at idle.
