I legitimately enjoyed the couple Windows Phones I had. But I think that’s an unpopular opinion.

I don’t understand it. If it’s a problem on console, why not have a full-fidelity “quality” mode but also offer a reduced-fidelity “performance” mode? Presumably there could be options like that similar to the PC build.
Ah, I’m at 1080, so maybe that’s the important difference. Hope they fix it for y’all soon.
Hm, this doesn’t match my experience on PopOS. I haven’t seen a single issue, and it looks quite nice.
but not especially well
I mean, it never ran especially well on minimum specs. But honestly, this is good. I’ve always thought they had pressure to release it for systems that they knew could not really handle it.
The console experience was drastically different from the PC experience. On PC it was a decent game from the start, imho, even with the clear design issues.
That said, ridiculous that CDPR or anyone would have shipped it in that state for other systems.
Not saying it or acknowledging the track record would have probably been better imho
But did you see the sheer number of bugs on launch in previous Bethesda games? This is like saying “lighters are the least dangerous fire yet.” Shit’s still gonna burn your house down, yo.
Pre-ordering digitally distributed games is so pointless, but even more so right now. At least wait for the review embargo to end.
But it’s even worse with a Bethesda game.
I wonder if this would affect things like Newpipe (android YouTube client replacement with no ads) or even just playing streams via MPV. I assume that stuff is relatively safe since it’s grabbing the actual video streams, but I’m sure there is still a way they could block them.
I like having an instance with local communities that match some of my interests. I also tried to find one a little more niche, but not so small as to be run out of someone’s closet. And of course, always donate to your home instance. Bandwidth doesn’t grow on trees!
On the privacy side, it was also important to me to have an instance that didn’t want my email address.
