I’m really grateful to see that my blog posts are often shared on here… even old ones (like my Friendica show & tell from last July is still making the rounds).
I just wanted to give you a heads up that I am now self-hosting my Ghost blog at https://news.elenarossini.com/ - the old URLs (with the subdomain blog) will no longer work… that blog, on a Ghost (Pro) plan will be deleted from the Ghost servers this weekend.
All this to say: please update your RSS feeds: https://news.elenarossini.com/rss and if you’re trying to open an old URL, just swap “blog” with “news” in the subdomain.

if you’re trying to open an old URL, just swap “blog” with “news” in the subdomain.
This seems pretty fixable, doesn’t it? Once the old blog shuts down, can’t you just redirect the subdomain so that the old links redirect to your current blog and everything is fine?
Clickable links, for sure. But machine-handled links like RSS feeds and ActivityPub subscriptions? Maybe not.
That would explain why the rss was acting up! Thanks for the heads up.

FYI: The first URL of the new page hits a 404 due to a faulty trailing space, the URL being hit is:
https://news.elenarossini.com/%20The correct url without trailing space:
https://news.elenarossini.com/
